Use a sharp knife to cut 2 to 3 cm off the stems at an angle. This helps the flowers absorb water better. Also remove any leaves that would end up in the water.

Mix the supplied flower food with clean, cold water in the vase. Replace the water every 3 days for best results.

3.        Choose a good spot in your home
Place the bouquet in a cool area, away from drafts, direct sunlight and fruit (fruit emits a gas that makes flowers wilt faster).
