1.        Trim the stems at an angle
Use a sharp knife to cut 2–3 cm from the stems at an angle. This helps the flowers absorb water more efficiently. Also remove any leaves from the lower stems so nothing hangs in the water.

2.        Add cut flower food
Mix the supplied flower food with clean, cold water in the vase. Refresh the water preferably every three days.

3.        Choose the right spot
Place your bouquet in a location that’s not too warm, out of draughts, and away from fruit (fruit releases ethylene gas, which causes flowers to wilt faster).
