1. Trim the stems diagonally
Use a sharp knife to cut 2 to 3 cm off the stems at an angle. This helps the flowers absorb water more effectively. Also remove any leaves that would hang in the water.
2. Add flower food
Mix the supplied flower food with clean, cold water in the vase. Ideally, change the water every 3 days.
3. Choose a good spot in your home
Place the bouquet in a cool location, out of drafts, away from direct sunlight and not next to fruit (fruit emits a substance that speeds up wilting).
